Thank you for choosing Rosetta Tax Service. This letter outlines our services and mutual responsibilities.
We will prepare your return(s) using the information you provide, including W-2s, 1099s, and other relevant documents. We will not audit or verify your data but may request clarifications. You are responsible for retaining documentation that supports all claims, deductions, or credits. Please thoroughly review your completed return before filing. We retain copies of your records for three years, after which they are securely disposed.
You must disclose any foreign income, accounts, or cryptocurrency transactions. Failure to report these may result in severe penalties.
While we apply professional judgment, you are ultimately responsible for the returns accuracy and for any taxes, interest, or penalties assessed.
For joint returns, both spouses have access to all related tax information.
The tax-filing deadline is April 15. Please submit required information by April 1. If an extension is necessary, we will file it upon your approval. Remember, an extension only postpones the filing date, not your payment due.
Fees are based on return complexity and are payable upon completion. Returns are filed electronically unless you opt out in writing.
Notify us immediately if you receive any audit correspondence. You will be responsible for additional taxes, interest, or penalties.
Our engagement ends when your return is delivered or filed. We appreciate your trust and look forward to working with you.
